GDS
Technologies Ltd formerly Gas Detection Services,
was established in 1988, specialising in the manufacture
of gas monitoring and gas detection systems primarily
designed for personnel protection against toxic, flammable
and asphyxiate gases.
Since its inception the company has, through careful
management and market research developed a range of
products to meet virtually every requirement of both
light and heavy commercial premises and petrochemical
sites to achieve compliance with HSE safety monitoring
standards.
GDS offer a full range of gas
sensors for every type of gas monitoring, including
carbon monoxide gas
detectors, refrigerant gas detectors, carbon dioxide
gas detectors and flammable gas detectors. To
compliment our range of gas sensors, we have a comprehensive
range of gas monitoring control systems, including
two addressable gas detection systems ideally suited
to carbon monoxide and LPG monitoring on large car
parks.
GDS have also developed a complete range of state
of the art flow sample
gas detection and monitoring systems for the marine
industry and for land-based hostile environment applications.
The marine systems meet all of the Lloyds approvals
and have found huge success with the major shipping
lines world-wide.
More specialised areas of work undertaken include
consultancy on all types of gas leakage survey strategies,
including gas turbine integrity testing, walking surveys
and the supply and training on vehicle-mounted gas
leak detection trigger survey systems, widely used
in most Transco districts.
